Horizontal Slit Profile Calculator for SAXS
Enter the values for the horizontal focus length (f), horizontal slit aperture (s), where s must be equal or bigger than f, distance focus-to-slit (d1) and distance slit-to-focus (d2), all in metric units (cm). The values (in cm) for the top and base of the trapezoid of the horizontal beam profile in the detector plane will be calculated. Using the program GIFT you have to enter only one side of the symmetrically beam profile (half of base and top), for the program GNOM the values AH and LH have to be entered. Please note that the units of the calculated slit parameters are in real-space units (cm) and in case the program needs the input in reciprocal units they have to be multiplied by the proper transformation factor!
